CCK Studio
Sliding Puzzle

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CCK Studio (operated by Celal Can Kaya, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sliding Puzzle mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Who publishes the App. On Google Play the App is published as CCK Studio (Celal Can Kaya). On the Apple App Store it is listed under the developer account of Emre Kaya, who is the seller of record there. In both cases the App is developed and operated by CCK Studio, and the contact address in this policy applies to both stores.

1. Information We Collect

Automatically generated identifier. The App signs you in anonymously the first time you open it, using Firebase Authentication. This creates a random, device-scoped identifier with no email, password, or account registration required.

Information you provide. You may choose a nickname (free text) and an avatar from a built-in set of images. Your nickname is shown publicly on the leaderboard and your profile - please don't enter your real name or other personal information in it.

Gameplay data. Your best completion times, move counts, and games played/solved per board size are saved to our servers under your anonymous identifier, so your personal bests and leaderboard rank can be kept in sync.

Leaderboards. Your best time and move count for each board size - both all-time and for the current day - may be shown publicly to other players, displayed together with the nickname and avatar you chose.

Diagnostics & crash data. We use Firebase Crashlytics, which automatically collects crash reports, device model, OS version, and app version to help us find and fix bugs.

Usage data. The App uses Firebase Analytics. Besides the basic usage information the SDK collects automatically (such as app opens) and associated device identifiers, the App sends a small set of events about how it is used: a puzzle being solved (board size, completion time, and move count), a puzzle being restarted, changing the language or theme, changing how tile colors are arranged, changing your avatar, clearing your scores, how you answer the notification prompt, and an interstitial ad being shown. The App also sets two Analytics user properties: the app language (Turkish or English) and a rough experience level based on how many puzzles you have solved (new, casual, regular, or pro), which we use to decide who receives which notification. These events and properties are not linked to your nickname.

Push notifications. The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, which assigns a registration token to this installation (on iOS, together with the device token from Apple's Push Notification service once you allow notifications). If you allow notifications - the App asks once, and your device then asks you to confirm - the App subscribes the installation to a topic that matches the app language, so that we can send you messages in the right language. We use notifications only for news and updates about the App. You can turn them off at any time in your device's notification settings. If you decline, the App does not subscribe to any topic and we do not send you notifications.

Configuration & installation identifiers. The App fetches settings (such as ad configuration) from Firebase Remote Config. Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) use a Firebase installation identifier - a random ID for this installation of the App - to operate.

Advertising data. The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and Google may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where applicable law requires your consent before personal data is used to personalize ads (for example, under the GDPR for users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), we will only enable personalized ads after obtaining that consent through an appropriate consent mechanism; otherwise, you will be shown non-personalized ads. Where it is shown, you can review or change that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy Options in the App. On iOS, the App also asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for tracking; if you decline, the identifier is not used for tracking, and you can change your choice in your device's Settings.

Support requests. If you contact us (for example via the in-app "Contact & Support" link or by emailing us directly), we receive your email address, the content of your message, and - if sent from the in-app link - a short line of app version and device information that is added to the email draft automatically before you send it.

Locally-stored preferences. Settings such as language, theme, sound/vibration toggles, whether you've already seen the in-app tutorial or answered the notification prompt, and the total time you have spent in the App (used only on your device to decide when to offer the notification prompt) are stored on your device. Apart from the analytics events described above (which note when you change the language or theme), these settings are not transmitted to us.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide core gameplay features: save your progress and best scores, and power the leaderboard.
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
  • Respond to support requests you send us.
  • Send you news and updates about the App as notifications, if you allow them.
  • Display ads, and measure or personalize them where legally permitted.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, strictly to operate the App:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Remote Config, Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging)
  • Apple Push Notification service (delivering notifications on iOS)
  • Google AdMob (advertising)

These providers process data under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy, Firebase Privacy & Security, How Google uses information from partner sites/apps.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country's law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at cckstudio8@gmail.com.

5. Your Rights

The App has no traditional login, so your data is tied to the anonymous identifier stored on your device. Uninstalling the App stops all local data collection; server-side records tied to your anonymous identifier may still exist until you ask us to delete them. To exercise any of the rights below, contact cckstudio8@gmail.com.

Deleting your scores in the App. Settings → Clear Best Scores resets the statistics stored on your device and deletes your leaderboard entries and statistics records stored on our servers under your anonymous identifier.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. We rely on consent, our legitimate interests (e.g. crash diagnostics, the leaderboard), and contract performance as our legal bases. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond what is described in this policy.

If you are in Türkiye (KVKK - Law No. 6698): as data controller based in Türkiye, we process personal data in line with KVKK. Under Article 11, you may learn whether we process your data, request information about it, request correction or deletion, and object to results produced solely by automated analysis.

Anywhere else: we aim to honor equivalent rights for all users regardless of location - just get in touch.

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers (Google/Firebase/AdMob) may process and store data in the United States and other countries where they operate data centers, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in their own privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

Gameplay and profile data tied to your anonymous identifier is retained for as long as needed to provide the leaderboard and stats features, or until you ask us to delete it. Crash reports and diagnostic logs are retained per Firebase's standard retention periods.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Do Not Track

Browsers and devices don't consistently support "Do Not Track" signals, so we don't currently respond to them differently from other requests.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notice) where appropriate.
